The oldest oak on Jekyll Island
Nestled between the cottages of the historic district, this majestic giant is a must-see on Jekyll Island. You’ll need a local, like myself, to help you find it!
Plantation Oak dates to the mid-seventeenth century and at seven feet eight inches in diameter is a foot wider than LeBron James is tall.

Features a wheelchair ramp. Please be aware the ramp may not always reach hard-packed sand due to the variation of tides throughout each day.
